Hello, FC-198 series is a new development instead of FC-098 a new generation of products, FC-198 and FC-098 appearance is the same, just type position is different. On the function, FC-198 is too much stronger than the FC-098, and the speed of calculation is much faster.
The main changes after the upgrade of FC-198 are as follows:
1. FC-198 supports 21,000 cards (FC-098 only supports 8000 cards)
2. FC-198 supports for data backup function (FC-098 numerous backup functions)
3. FC-198 supports for a new FCARD command directive (FC -098 only supports old commands)
4. FC-198 new algorithm, 21,000 cards can identify a card as long as 0.1 second (FC-098 needs 20 seconds to identify a card in 8000 cards)
5. FC-198 supports detection locking.
6. FC-198 supports for the anti-copying card door.
7. FC-198 supports ID cards, IC cards and HID cards.
8. FC-198 supports WG input to realize reading cards to open the door.
